Founders go on a very formal ramble.
Founders Steve and Richard
Richard and Steve took a breezy ramble up the Cow and Calf rocks in Ilkley a couple of weeks ago; not an altogether out of the ordinary event but it's not often that folks climb up there in business suits! This excursion was all in the name of MAVCast, those people from the press requested suitably appropriate publicity pics. The photo has already appeared alongside several articles this week in the business pages.
It's unlikely you'll bump into the guys on any other mountain passes, but you might just see Steve at Eric Spencer's Menswear in Ilkley getting another emergency suit, tailored to fit in sixty minutes flat!!
Great Clothing With Mavcast
MAVCast proves email marketing is a thing of the past.
Great Clothes MAVCast Voucher
A recent advertising campaign run by Commercial Radio Station, Radio Aire, proved a huge success for the store as listeners responded to ads encouraging them to apply for a £10 discount voucher through MAVCast's 81011 shortcode number. Simply by texting 'Great' to 81011 customers were rewarded with a discount voucher sent straight to back to their phones.
The memorable campaign was also great for MAVCast as we were mentioned in every advert and the good news just keeps on coming: as a test case, Radio Aire also ran the voucher as an email response but MAVCast won hands down with the text requests beating the emails by over 80 to 1.

The Manchester International Festival
Two hours and counting, MAVCast still brings great results
Instant Results For Manchester
For the first time, tickets and events were advertised using MAVCast, with discounts and incentives being offered to festival goers via their mobile phones. Organisers were amazed at the response rate after only two hours; here's what they had to say about it ...
“As a major new festival committed to exciting world-class work and equally innovative marketing communications, MAVCast fitted well with our ethos. Working with a new system can slow the process down, and often creates complications that can even be off-putting. With MAVCast that wasn’t the case. In fact it was the opposite. Setting up, creating and sending new messages was no trouble, and whenever we had a query about how we could use the service, we got the answers simply and quickly. Oh, and we definitely boosted our ticket sales in the last few days of box office activity with MAVCast.”

i-to-i make Rain
Ethical Travel company i to i have been pushing the boundaries of MAVCast's abilities and we have proved more than up to the task. This forward thinking company have been producing commercials specifically for MAVCast marketing and in so doing have created a cult figure for the You Tube generation. A particular favourite sees poor Brian drenched by a bucket load of water chucked over a wall and this commercial, whilst raising a few laughs also generated increased sales and revenue for this already successful travel company.
MAVCast have been excited to see each new commercial and are delighted that already a client is translating its belief in our product into custom made advertising entertainment.
We went to see the Prince gig at the O2 Arena
We were among 25 VIP guests from the mobile communication industry to attend a mobile marketing forum in London. We were there with the leading lights in the mobile industry discussing the future of mobile marketing. We got lots of great contacts within the industry, which means we can offer our clients an even better service. The day was rounded off with an executive box at the Prince gig at the O2 Arena. The old fella may be pushing 50 and in need of a hip replacement, but what a show! An amazing day.
